Can I use an 8x AGP video card in a 4x AGP slot?
Yes, as a general rule of thumb, most Motherboards can supply the proper voltage (1.5 vs. 0.8). Fore some of the higher video cards, check with the
manufacturer
. Most will plainly tell you if they are backward
compatible
with the 4x standard.
